I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was fresh and it came out fast. I can't say there was anything super unique about the flavors, but that didn't make it any less good. It was just your typical but delicious Mexican food. The chips and salsa was really the only thing lacking. The salsa wasn't much of a flavor but it had good spice. Other than that, no complaints!
We were in salt lake this last weekend. Had our hearts set on the red iguana in salt lake as we’ve heard nothing but absolute great things. Unfortunately all the hotels in salt lake to south Jordan were booked and even heading towards Ogden. As we were on an aquarium and zoo vacation. We found a cancellation in Ogden and heard this place was great. Unfortunate we didn’t try the red iguana. However this place was amazing and by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Their salsa/hot sauce was bomb. The carne asada fries, which is my go to was unlike any other. Fantastic service and delicious food.
Oh my gosh! Why didn't I know how great this place was? Super awesome service even while super busy. The chips and salsa are great and kept coming (: I was sooo happy with the smothered Chile Verde burrito. Perfect portion. You know it's good food when not only the burrito is great, but the rice and beans as well. Kudos to la puente for putting a smile on my face.
Pretty nice. I get the low carb shrimp fajitas was pretty good needed some salt. The free chips and salsa were delicious the salsa was a little spicy which is good because you can't get spicy salsa anywhere. Coke Zero with a lemon. Tortillas seem store bought and shrimp is frozen but still pretty good.
